We're Hiring: Office 365 and Intune Systems Administrator!
Key Responsibilities
- Manage user accounts, groups, and licenses within Office 365
- Create & manage dynamic distribution lists and Office365 groups
- Generate and analyse usage reports to monitor and optimize Office 365 services
- Assign, monitor, and manage Office 365 licenses to ensure compliance and cost-efficiency
- Diagnose and resolve mail flow issues
- Troubleshoot calendar synchronization and access issues
- Address mailbox-related problems, including access and performance issues
- Configure and manage Intune for mobile device management (MDM) and mobile application management (MAM).
- Create and enforce compliance policies, configuration profiles, and app protection policies
- Monitor and troubleshoot device enrolment and compliance issues
- Ensure the scalability, reliability and performance of Intune services.
- Implement and manage security baselines for devices
- Develop and maintain automation scripts for routine tasks and processes
End User Device Integration
- Conduct a comprehensive assessment of the current suite of base applications installed on end-user devices, identifying any outdated or redundant software.
- Modify the PowerShell Application Deployment Toolkit (PSADT) script to incorporate updates for the latest application versions, ensuring seamless integration and deployment.
- Engage with technical team s to perform rigorous testing across all device models, ensuring compatibility, performance, and functionality of the updated image.
Knowledge
Office 365 Administration
- In-depth understanding of Office 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business & Teams
- Knowledge of user account management, group management, and license management within Office 365.
- Familiarity with dynamic distribution lists and Office 365 groups.
- Understanding of mail flow, calendar synchronization, and mailbox performance issues.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Intune for mobile device management (MDM) and mobile application management (MAM).
- Understanding compliance policies, configuration profiles, and app protection policies.
- Knowledge of device enrollment, compliance monitoring, and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with security baselines and automation scripting for routine tasks.
End User Device Integration
- Knowledge of end user hardware and software ecosystems.
- Understanding of the PowerShell Application Deployment Toolkit (PSADT) and its application in software deployment.
- Familiarity with software lifecycle management and deployment processes.
- Knowledge of testing methodologies and compatibility assessments for hardware and software.

- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting, particularly with PSADT.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for Office 365 and Intune-related issues.
- Ability to generate and analyze usage reports to optimize services.

Experience
Office 365 Administration
- Proven experience in managing user accounts, groups, and licenses within Office 365.
- Experience in troubleshooting mail flow, calendar synchronization, and mailbox-related issues.
- Experience in configuring and maintaining Microsoft Intune infrastructure.
- Hands-on experience with MDM and MAM, including creating and enforcing compliance policies.
End User Device Integration
- Experience in assessing and managing software applications end user devices.
- Experience in modifying and deploying PowerShell scripts for application updates.
- Experience in collaborating with technical teams for rigorous testing and compatibility assessments.
Accreditation
Microsoft Certifications
- Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate or equivalent certification.
- Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals (optional but beneficial).
- Microsoft Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert (optional but beneficial).
Other Relevant Certifications
- CompTIA A+ or CompTIA Network+ for foundational IT knowledge.
Education
Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
