Job summary

DP World seeks a Senior Manager - Ocean Freight to lead the country’s Ocean Freight product, own the P&L, and align with global and regional strategies. You will drive profitable growth, ensure compliant carrier procurement, and deliver high-quality ocean freight solutions.

This role requires extensive leadership, contract negotiations, cost controls, and collaboration with sales, operations and regional teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business or related field.
Certifications in logistics or supply chain are advantageous.
10–15 years in freight forwarding/logistics/ocean carrier roles; 5–7 years in senior management.

Responsibilities

Own country Ocean Freight P&L, including revenue, gross profit, and cost targets.
Lead carrier sourcing, negotiation, and space management to secure rates and service.
Drive pricing governance, tenders, and tender execution with speed and accuracy.
Align sales, pricing, and operations to deliver profitable ocean freight solutions.
Develop and coach the country Ocean Freight team; manage risk and compliance.
Collaborate with regional/global teams on strategic initiatives and pilots.
