Job summary

YUSEN Logistics Philippines Inc. is seeking Customer Service Specialists for the Ocean Freight unit to ensure smooth coordination with clients, shipping lines, and internal teams. You will handle import documents, pre-alerts, and tracking to support end-to-end shipment operations.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Customs or a related field, strong English communication, and MS Office proficiency. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/College degree in Customs Administration or any 4-year course.
• At least 1 year of work experience in Logistics / Freight Forwarding; Fresh Graduates are welcome.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Hard-working, can work under pressure, and keen to details.
• Excellent English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Receive and review import documents from clients/NVOCC.
• Coordinate sales account arrangements before shipment release.
• Prepare YUNAS jobs and send pre-alerts to BP, AIP, COG, and brokerage.
• Issue arrival notices and vessel delay advisories to clients.
• Forecast deliveries and advise import requirements.
• Track customs processing and monitor shipment status.
• Process LOA and container payment refund approvals.
• Monitor delivery through empty return and advise potential charges.
• Update YUNAS delivery dates for door shipments.
• Secure client approval for detention, storage, and demurrage charges.
• Coordinate CTF replenishment with customers and TCT team.
• Collect EIR copies for non-YL truck service transactions.
