Job summary

Hammerjack Pty Ltd is launching an OB/Newborn CDI Training Program for Registered Nurses transitioning from bedside care into Clinical Documentation Integrity. The program provides comprehensive CDI fundamentals and OB/Newborn documentation training, with a remote/hybrid work setup.

Ideal candidates hold an active RN license, at least five years in acute care, and experience across Labor & Delivery, Mother-Baby, NICU, or related areas.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted RN license.
• Minimum 5 years of acute-care hospital nursing experience.
• Background in Labor & Delivery, Mother-Baby, NICU, Women's Services, ICU, ED, Med-Surg or other acute-care specialties.
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, communication and documentation skills.
• Comfortable working independently in remote or hybrid environment.

Responsibilities

• Review inpatient medical records for completeness, accuracy and clinical consistency.
• Identify documentation improvement opportunities and issue provider queries.
• Collaborate with physicians, coding, HIM, case management and other teams.
• Support accurate clinical documentation reflecting illness severity, outcomes and medical necessity.
• Maintain follow-up, productivity, and CDI compliance.
• Participate in training, audits, education initiatives and process improvements.
