Job summary

EPSILON GROUP SERVICES INC. is seeking experienced US Registered Nurses (USRNs) with strong acute hospital bedside nursing experience to join our Healthcare BPO team as Clinical Documentation Improvement (CDI) Specialists.

This role enables bedside nurses to transition into a specialized CDI position within a healthcare BPO environment. Qualified candidates will receive training and support to help them apply clinical expertise in documentation review and improvement.

Qualifications

• Active USRN license required.
• 5–10 years of hospital experience.
• Minimum of 3 years Medical-Surgical experience is required and non-negotiable.
• Minimum of 2 years direct acute patient care experience in ICU and/or Emergency Department.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• Willingness to work onsite in Cubao, Quezon City or BGC, Taguig.
• Willingness to work midshift or graveyard schedules.

Responsibilities

• Review and interpret inpatient medical records and clinical documentation.
• Analyze clinical scenarios and identify relevant signs, symptoms, diagnoses, and patient conditions.
• Identify gaps, inconsistencies, and opportunities for clarification in clinical documentation.
• Apply clinical knowledge to evaluate patient conditions and treatment provided.
• Review documentation involving complex acute-care cases.
• Utilize knowledge of Medical-Surgical, ICU, Emergency Department, Inpatient, and Telemetry care.
• Collaborate with appropriate healthcare professionals regarding documentation clarification.
• Ensure documentation accurately reflects the patient's clinical condition and level of care.
• Maintain compliance with applicable clinical documentation and healthcare standards.
• Complete CDI-related tasks accurately and within established productivity and quality standards.
• Work within a healthcare BPO environment while applying clinical knowledge and hospital-based experience.
