Job summary

Advanced Energy — a global leader in precision power conversion and control solutions — seeks a PMO Manager to establish and govern New Product Introduction execution within the factory. You will ensure projects are well-planned, aligned to strategy, and delivered with governance and control.

The role emphasizes driving consistency, portfolio visibility, and resource coordination, with mentoring of MSR leads and ongoing process improvement across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
• 8+ years in electronics manufacturing or EMS environment.
• 3+ years in an NPI, Production, or Manufacturing Engineering leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of NPI processes, ramp-up management, and project management principles.

Responsibilities

• Governance & Standards: Align factory NPI procedures with global and PDP processes; ensure consistency and compliance across projects; prioritize projects by value and capacity; align projects with strategy; support executive decision-making with portfolio visibility.
• Performance & Reporting: Produce dashboards and status reports for leadership; enable early issue identification and corrective actions.
• Resource Management: Coordinate shared resources; reduce conflicts and over-allocation; establish risk identification and mitigation standards; escalate major issues; improve delivery predictability.
• Capability Development: Provide PM training and coaching; mentor MSR leads; promote best practices and continuous improvement.
• Tooling & Data: Own or support PM tools (MS Project, Jira, Smartsheet); maintain project data integrity and historical records.
