Job summary

Advanced Energy in the Philippines seeks an experienced PMO Manager to establish, maintain, and enforce NPI standards within the factory. The role ensures projects are planned, executed, and delivered aligned with organizational goals, driving governance and value realization.

You will lead governance, portfolio prioritization, and performance reporting, coordinating cross-functional teams and leveraging MS Project/Jira/Smartsheet to improve delivery predictability. Rosario, Cavite based.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
• 8+ years in electronics manufacturing or EMS; 3 years in NPI/production leadership.
• Strong knowledge of NPI, ramp-up management, and project governance.

Responsibilities

• Align NPI procedures with global and BU PDP processes.
• Prioritize projects based on value and capacity.
• Produce dashboards and leadership status reports.
• Coordinate shared resources across projects.
• Establish standards for risk identification and mitigation.
• Provide PM training and coaching.
• Support PM tools and ensure data integrity.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Project Management Office (PMO) Manager serves as a centralized function responsible for establishing, maintaining, and enforcing standards for New Product Introduction (NPI) execution within the factory. It ensures that projects are effectively planned, executed, and delivered in alignment with organizational goals. This role plays a key role in driving consistency, governance, and control—enabling the organization to deliver the right projects efficiently and in the right way.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Governance & Standards

• Align factory NPI procedure with the global (e.g. MRM) and BU Product Development Process (PDP) procedures
• Ensure consistency and compliance across projects

Portfolio & Strategic Alignment

• Helps prioritize projects based on business value and capacity
• Ensure projects align with organizational strategy
• Supports executive decision-making through portfolio visibility

Performance & Reporting

• Tracks project health (scope, schedule, cost, risks, benefits)
• Produce dashboards and status reports for leadership
• Enables early identification of issues and corrective actions

Resource Management

• Coordinates shared resources across projects
• Balances demand vs. capacity
• Helps reduce conflicts and overallocation

Risk & Issue Management

• Establishes standards for risk identification and mitigation
• Escalates major issues appropriately
• Improves predictability of delivery

Capability Development

• Provides project management training and coaching
• Mentors MSR leads / MSR
• Promotes best practices and continuous improvement

Tooling & Data

• Owns or supports project management tools (e.g. MS Project, Jira, Smartsheet)
• Maintains project data integrity and historical records

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent
• With 8-year experience in electronics manufacturing or EMS environment and 3 years in an NPI, Production, or Manufacturing Engineering leadership role
• Strong knowledge of NPI processes, manufacturing transfer, and ramp-up management
• Strong knowledge of project management principles (scope, schedule, cost, risk, and quality)
• Certification such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile/Scrum is an advantage
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and portfolios simultaneously
• Willing to be assigned in Rosario, Cavite
