Job summary

JTI in Bucharest, Romania seeks an NPD Support Manager to coordinate new product development projects, ensuring timing and cost align with standards. The role drives improvements to factory-level NPD processes and supports product quality and material performance.

You will collaborate with local and global teams, manage Product Lifecycle activities, validate data in SAP, and support system and process improvements. Fluency in English (B2) and SAP/PLM knowledge are required.

Qualifications

• University degree, preferably in a technical field.
• 3–5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a fast-moving consumer goods environment.
• Experience coordinating new product development activities.
• Advanced knowledge of factory and supply chain processes.
• Knowledge of product specification management and factory-related systems.
• Project management experience.
• Good command of English (B2).
• Strong Microsoft Office skills.
• Practical knowledge of SAP and Product Lifecycle Management systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate project feasibility assessments, production capabilities and timelines.
• Lead project reviews and monitor activities required for successful product launches.
• Collaborate with local and global teams, acting as the factory contact for new projects.
• Implement global initiatives, including new-material qualification and specification standardization.
• Coordinate Product Lifecycle Management activities, project data, reporting and material approvals.
• Validate product and Bill of Materials data in SAP, supporting system and process improvements.
