Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 4+ years of Node.js application development.
• 5+ years of backend development experience.
• Strong in building RESTful APIs.
• Relational and NoSQL databases experience.
• Familiar with unit testing (Jest/Mocha/Chai).
• Git and version-control best practices.
• Containerized apps with Docker/Kubernetes.
• CI/CD with Jenkins or GitLab CI.
• Experience with AWS or similar cloud providers.
• Agile/Scrum environment experience.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and enhance backend applications and related system components
• Design and implement scalable services capable of handling high-volume transactions
• Develop secure and reusable RESTful APIs for internal and external integrations
• Participate in code reviews, deployments, and technical discussions
• Implement automation tools for testing, CI/CD, monitoring, and alerts
• Perform load testing, analyze results, and recommend optimizations
• Contribute to architecture design and technology decisions
• Collaborate closely with frontend, backend, DevOps, and product teams
• Support platform stability, resiliency, maintainability, and performance improvements
