Qualifications

• Diploma in ECE, Computer Science, or Information Technology.
• At least 1 year of Network and/or IT Operations experience.
• CCNA certification.
• Strong understanding of routing and switching.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, and subnetting.
• Experience with Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, Huawei, or Arista devices.
• Experience with network monitoring tools (Zabbix, Grafana, PRTG).
• ISP/Telco operations experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor network infrastructure, links, and services using NOC tools.

Job Summary

The NOC Engineer is responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and supporting the day-to-day operation of the organization's network infrastructure. This includes identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving network issues to ensure stable and reliable service for customers and internal systems. The role involves working closely with upstream providers, internal teams, and field engineers to ensure timely resolution of incidents and continuous network availability

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor network infrastructure, links, and services using NOC monitoring tools Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve network incidents, outages, and performance issues
• Perform initial diagnosis of routing, switching, and connectivity problems
• Escalate complex issues to senior engineers, vendors, or upstream providers when needed
• Coordinate with telecom providers and internal teams for issue resolution and updates
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of incidents, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions in the ticketing system
• Provide regular network status updates and incident reports
• Support scheduled maintenance, upgrades, and configuration changes
• Assist in verifying network changes and ensuring service stability after implementation
• Follow standard NOC procedures, escalation paths, and operational guidelines

Qualifications

A diploma holder in ECE, Computer Science, or Information Technology is preferred.

At least 1 year of Network and/or IT Operations experience

Has CCNA certificate

Strong understanding of routing and switching

In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, Subnetting, and network fundamentals

Familiar with network devices such as Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, Huawei, or Arista

Experience in network monitoring tools such as Zabbix, Grafana, PRTG, or similar

Experience in ISP/Telco operations is an advantage.
