Job summary

Citco in Makati, Philippines invites a Quality Assurance Analyst (Functional Manual Tester) to join our Global QA team in a night-shift hybrid setup. You will design, execute, and maintain functional manual tests across agile and waterfall projects, collaborating with analysts, developers, and the automation team to ensure high product quality.

Requirements include a Bachelor's or Master's in CS, 3+ years in functional testing, 1–2 years in agile testing, and proficiency with JIRA, Xray,

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
3+ years' experience in a functional testing role
1–2 years' experience in an agile testing specific role
Strong background in QA processes, SDLC and methodologies
ISTQB Foundation Software Certification is a distinct advantage

Responsibilities

Design, creation, maintenance, optimization, and execution of functional manual test cases covering end-to-end business scenarios, regression, integration, and UAT
Validate application functionality against business requirements and functional specifications
Participate in requirements and design reviews to ensure testability and completeness
Define and contribute to suitable testing strategies in collaboration with stakeholders
Collaborate with Development, Project Management, and QA teams
Log, track, and retest defects using defect management tools
Produce QA status reports and support the full defect lifecycle
