Job summary

GECO Asia Pte. Ltd is seeking a Data Analyst to join our Google Looker Data Platform project in Taguig. The role centers on data analysis, reporting, dashboard development, data validation, and delivering insights from large datasets.

You will collaborate with consultants, managers, developers, and data engineers to translate requirements into actionable outputs and support data-informed decisions. Night shift and hybrid work arrangements apply to this contract role.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a technical/quantitative field.
Minimum 3 years of experience in Data Analytics or BI.
Strong SQL coding skills.
Working knowledge of BI/reporting tools, ETL, data modeling, and data warehouse concepts.
Experience with large enterprise datasets.
Proficiency in Python or R is a plus.
Experience with GCP/Looker is a plus.

Responsibilities

Support consultants and managers in understanding business objectives and decision needs.
Translate requirements into analytical tasks and identify data gaps.
Perform data extraction, preparation, validation, analysis, testing, and reporting.
Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, workflows, and analytics data structures.
Use SQL to work with large or complex datasets.
Use Python or R (via Colab) for deeper analysis as needed.
Collaborate with developers and data engineers to ensure data accuracy.
Document assumptions, processes, and findings.
Monitor and maintain recurring reports and dashboards.
Present findings to stakeholders.
