GECO Asia Pte. Ltd is seeking a Data Analyst to join our Google Looker Data Platform project in Taguig. The role centers on data analysis, reporting, dashboard development, data validation, and delivering insights from large datasets.

You will collaborate with consultants, managers, developers, and data engineers to translate requirements into actionable outputs and support data-informed decisions. Night shift and hybrid work arrangements apply to this contract role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical/quantitative field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Data Analytics or BI.
• Strong SQL coding skills.
• Working knowledge of BI/reporting tools, ETL, data modeling, and data warehouse concepts.
• Experience with large enterprise datasets.
• Proficiency in Python or R is a plus.
• Experience with GCP/Looker is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support consultants and managers in understanding business objectives and decision needs.
• Translate requirements into analytical tasks and identify data gaps.
• Perform data extraction, preparation, validation, analysis, testing, and reporting.
• Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, workflows, and analytics data structures.

About the Role

We are looking for a Data Analyst to join our Google Looker Data Platform project. The role will focus on data analysis, reporting, dashboard development, data validation, and analytical delivery using large and complex datasets.

You will work closely with consultants, managers, developers, and data engineers to translate business requirements into meaningful analytical outputs and help drive data-informed decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Support consultants and managers in understanding business objectives, requirements, constraints, and decision needs.

• Translate business requirements into structured analytical tasks and identify data gaps, quality issues, and ambiguities.

• Perform data extraction, preparation, validation, analysis, testing, and reporting.

• Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, workflows, and analytical data structures.

• Use SQL to work with large or complex datasets.

• Use Python or R, particularly through Colab, for deeper analysis, automation, and data processing when required.

• Work with BI, ETL, and data modeling tools to support analytical solutions.

• Collaborate with developers and data engineers to test data logic and ensure accuracy of analytical outputs.

• Document assumptions, processes, findings, and analytical solutions.

• Monitor and maintain recurring reports and dashboards.

• Manage assigned deliverables, communicate progress, and present findings to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or another technical/quantitative field.

• At least 3 years of experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Supply Chain Analytics, or a related field.

• Strong SQL coding skills.

• Working knowledge of BI/reporting tools, ETL, data modeling, and data warehouse concepts.

• Experience working with large enterprise datasets.

• Proficiency in Python or R is a strong advantage.

• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Looker, or other Google analytics tools is a plus.

• Supply chain, inventory, logistics, or operations analytics experience is preferred but not required.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

• Willingness and ability to work on a night shift schedule.
