Job summary

First Focus is seeking a skilled private cloud engineer to back our US-based team from the Philippines. You’ll own provisioning, configuration, and troubleshooting of private cloud infrastructure, serving as the second-level escalation point and driving end-to-end resolution.

You will work nights aligned to US business hours (approx. 11pm–8am Philippine time), join a hybrid setup in Ortigas or Alabang, and collaborate with an Australian team during handovers.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in private cloud infrastructure, with multi-client/complex environments
• Hands-on with Nutanix AHV or comparable hyperconverged infra (VMware optional)
• Enterprise networking with Juniper/Junos or similar
• Azure or AWS experience, hybrid-cloud context
• Scripting ability in PowerShell, Python, or Bash
• Clear, confident English for cross-time-zone collaboration

Responsibilities

• Second-level escalation for US service desk on cloud and infrastructure issues
• Own lifecycle of private cloud environments built on Nutanix AHV
• Manage and maintain Juniper Networks infrastructure
• Support Microsoft Azure and hybrid cloud workloads
• Drive improvements in monitoring, automation, and documentation
• Participate in shift handovers with the Australian team
• Work a night shift aligned to US business hours (approx. 11pm-8am PHT, weekends off)
