Job summary

Magic, a veteran remote-work facilitator backed by Y Combinator and Sequoia, seeks a retention-focused Manager to own a portfolio of client–assistant relationships for US clients from the Philippines. This post-sale role requires proactive problem solving, empathetic communication, and strong CRM discipline.

You will work night shifts (10 PM–7 AM PHT), undergo a four-week training program, and collaborate across teams to prevent churn and maximize client success.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of client-facing experience in customer retention, account management, or customer support.
• Ability to manage multiple active client relationships simultaneously.
• Comfortable owning retention or renewal metrics and explaining movements.
• Fluent written and verbal English for escalation calls and coaching conversations.
• Reliable night-shift availability (10 PM–7 AM PHT).
• HubSpot proficiency preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own a portfolio of client–assistant relationships and monitor their health.
• Prevent churn by spotting early signals and acting before issues escalate.
• Lead win-back and escalation conversations on live calls.
• Drive client success through onboarding sessions, 30-day check-ins, and follow-ups.
• Advocate for assistants through regular feedback sessions and coaching.
• Triage 30+ tickets daily with fast, personalized responses.
• Document every interaction in HubSpot for record accuracy.
• Partner with Operations, Finance, and Engineering as needed.
