Job summary

WTW seeks a Business Analyst 1 to support the delivery of benefits administration services for global clients. You will build foundational expertise in plan design, system functionality, and operational processes, while ensuring accurate data processing and timely resolution of client and vendor inquiries.

This role involves client and vendor coordination, data validation (SQL/Excel), documentation updates, and collaboration with BSA and service center teams to support onboarding and transitions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in healthcare, pension, or benefits administration.
• Proven experience in case management, research, and handling escalations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective written and verbal communication, with professional stakeholder management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; knowledge of SQL is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required.
• Ability to work extended hours as needed.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day benefits administration activities, including case resolution and data updates.
• Own annual enrollment activities: documentation updates, plan year procedure management, and vendor coordination.
• Maintain and update processing documentation, calendars, and procedures.
• Manage case volumes, trends, and process updates; communicate insights to stakeholders.
• Respond to client and internal queries in a timely and accurate manner.
• Utilize systems and tools to process and validate data; perform basic data queries (SQL/Excel).
• Support data transmission setup and coordination with vendors and interfaces.
• Follow standard operating procedures aligned with best practices.
• Meet SLAs and contribute to process improvements, automation, and root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with BSA, service center teams, and global stakeholders; provide training when needed.
• Support onboarding, transitions, and knowledge transfer activities; provide backup to BSA.
