Job summary

EviSmart™ is seeking a night Incident Commander to own overnight incident response for the Autopilot platform, ensuring the same daytime processes and communication standards hold after hours. You’ll train a night backup, collaborate with Jester and DevOps to keep the platform healthy, and act decisively under pressure to restore service within minutes.

Qualifications

• Experience as an individual contributor in technical support or incident response.
• Ability to own incidents at night and make decisions under pressure.
• Comfort with basic operations like service restarts, log review, and ticketing.
• Ability to teach and delegate without formal management authority.

Responsibilities

• Incident command at night and triage to resolution.
• Platform monitoring day and night.
• Ensure cross-shift consistency of processes and tools.
• Train night backup and delegate tasks.
• Collaborate with DevOps to maintain stability.
• Escalate appropriately when needed.
