EviSmart™ is seeking a dedicated Night Incident Commander to own after-hours incident response for Autopilot platform operations. You will declare, triage, and drive incidents to resolution, ensuring the same standards as daytime teams.
You will train a trusted night backup and work closely with DevOps to maintain stability, with calm, clear communication during live incidents.
Job Description:
About the Role
We’re looking for someone to be our point person and incident commander at night — the hours our platform runs but Jester and the daytime team aren’t on. Our platform (Autopilot) helps 2,000+ dental labs worldwide get their cases booked correctly within 15 minutes of arrival, every time, so when something breaks overnight, someone has to be ready with a fast, safe fix immediately — not by morning.
This is an individual contributor role, not a people-management position. You won’t have direct reports. What you will have is real responsibility: you’re the one who owns incident response at night, and you make sure the same process and communication standard that runs during the day holds up just as well at 2am. You’ll also train one Application Support team member to be your trusted backup at night — someone you can delegate real tasks to, not just someone shadowing you.

How We’ll Set You Up to Succeed
The first 90 days follow a structured ramp: you’ll spend real time learning the platform and the team before you’re expected to run night incidents solo, then build up to full independent night ownership — including a trained backup — by the end of your first month. Full details are in the accompanying 90-Day Plan.
