Responsibilities

• Lead BESS and new technology projects from concept to execution, ensuring alignment with timelines, budget, quality, and regulations.
• Evaluate BESS/new technologies and support the development of technology strategies and roadmaps.
• Develop technical concepts, project plans, business cases, cost and risk assessments, and engineering standards.
• Coordinate with internal teams, suppliers, clients, regulators, government, and partners to resolve issues and optimize projects.
• Monitor industry trends and provide management with technical insights, recommendations, and project updates.

You will work closely with General Services Operations Management team to deliver results, create positive community impact, and develop your skills in a supportive, purpose-driven environment.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Project Development & Execution – Lead BESS and new technology projects from concept to execution, ensuring alignment with timelines, budget, quality, and regulations.
• Technology & Strategy – Evaluate BESS/new technologies and support the development of technology strategies and roadmaps.
• Business Case & Engineering – Develop technical concepts, project plans, business cases, cost and risk assessments, and engineering standards.
• Stakeholder Management – Coordinate with internal teams, suppliers, clients, regulators, government, and partners to resolve issues and optimize projects.

What You Will Need:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical or Chemical.
• Experience: 8+ years in Oil & Gas or Power, with 3+ years in carbon capture/CCU projects and 3+ years in leadership.
• Certification: Project Management certification preferred.
• Technical Expertise: BESS technology, carbon capture processes/equipment, engineering standards, and project management.
• Competencies: Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
• Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of global BESS policies and regulatory frameworks.
