Job summary

Total Information Management Corp. in Metro Manila is seeking a Network and Security Engineer to design, implement, and maintain the organization’s network infrastructure and security systems.

You will configure firewalls, routers, switches, access points, and VPNs to ensure optimal performance and robust protection. Strong CCNA and at least 2 years of experience are required, with knowledge of TCP/IP, IDS/IPS, SIEM, and scripting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Engineering or related field.
• 2+ years of Network and Security Engineer experience.
• CCNA certification required.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP.
• Understanding of firewall management and IDS/IPS.
• Proficiency in network design and architecture.
• Security technologies: firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, SIEM, anti-malware tools.
• OS familiarity: Linux and Windows.
• Programming/scripting: Python, Bash/PowerShell.
• Cryptography: encryption, hashing, key management.
• Vulnerability management: tools and techniques.
• Incident response: detect, analyze, respond to security incidents.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot network issues and perform system upgrades while ensuring compliance with standards.
• Collaborate with clients to develop and enforce security policies; manage network access controls and respond to incidents.
• Stay updated on cybersecurity trends to improve security posture.
• Design, configure, and deploy network infrastructure including firewalls, routers, switches, APs, and related devices.
• Plan and implement network upgrades and expansions.
• Monitor network performance and ensure system availability and reliability.
