Job summary

Cubic³ is seeking a Network Operations Engineer to maintain and optimise our global connectivity platform. You will troubleshoot SS7, Diameter, S6a, VoLTE, SIP and SMS signalling, especially during roaming, and work with internal teams, vendors and MNO partners to resolve issues quickly.

You will monitor performance, conduct deep technical analysis, and contribute to process improvements. After a six-month probation on site, flexible work-from-home days may be arranged depending on performance.

Qualifications

4+ years in core network domain
Strong SS7 signalling diagnostic ability
Diameter/S6a for mobility/auth handling
VoLTE call quality and SIP signalling troubleshooting
SMS signalling and routing understanding
Roaming protocol knowledge (3G/4G) for attach and PDP
Ability to analyse signalling with Wireshark/tcpdump

Responsibilities

Support new services to meet performance standards
Collaborate with vendors and MNO partners on service delivery
Monitor and troubleshoot 3G/LTE attach failures and roaming data issues
Lead incident resolution and root cause analysis for complex signalling problems
Document post-incident reports and improve troubleshooting workflows
Mentor colleagues on signalling protocols and methodologies
Schedule maintenance activities to ensure network health
Contribute to continuous improvement of operational processes
