Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in CS/IT/Engineering.
• CCNA or higher certification strongly preferred.
• Experience in designing and deploying scalable secure networks.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs, routing protocols (OSPF/BGP), QoS is essential.
• Experience with enterprise networking gear from Cisco/Juniper/Fortinet is a plus.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Network Engineer role based in the Philippines. The Network Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure and reliable network infrastructure for client environments. Day-to-day tasks include configuring routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices; monitoring network performance; and troubleshooting connectivity, latency, and security issues. The role involves collaborating with cybersecurity and cloud teams to integrate network solutions with security controls and cloud platforms, as well as documenting network configurations, standards, and procedures. The Network Engineer will also participate in network upgrades, capacity planning, incident response, and ongoing optimization to meet high performance and uptime requirements.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Network Engineering and Network Design to plan, architect, and implement scalable, secure network infrastructures.


• Proficiency in Network Administration and Troubleshooting to manage devices, monitor performance, and resolve network incidents efficiently.


• Solid understanding of Network Security principles and practices, including firewalls, VPNs, intrusion detection/prevention, and secure configuration.


• Experience with common networking technologies and protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, VLANs, routing protocols such as OSPF/BGP, switching, QoS).


• Hands‑on experience with enterprise‑grade networking hardware and software (e.g., Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, or equivalent vendors).


• Familiarity with cloud networking concepts and integration with major cloud platforms is an advantage.


• Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network+, or equivalent are preferred.


• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.


• Strong analytical, documentation, and problem‑solving abilities, with the capacity to work collaboratively in cross‑functional teams.
