HCL Technologies Philippines Inc. is seeking an experienced Enterprise Network Engineer to design, implement, and support complex LAN/WAN infrastructures. You will troubleshoot routing and switching issues, and lead upgrades and incident resolution in a 24x7 environment.
Responsibilities cover Cisco ACI, WLC, SD-WAN, and security. You will mentor junior engineers and collaborate across global teams to ensure reliable network operations.
Design, implement, and support enterprise LAN/WAN infrastructure.
Troubleshoot complex routing and switching issues.
Configure and manage:
BGP
OSPF
EIGRP
HSRP/VRRP
VLANs
STP/RSTP/MSTP
EtherChannel/LACP
QoS
Perform IOS/NX-OS upgrades and lifecycle management.
Lead major incident troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
Administer Cisco Wireless LAN Controllers and Access Points.
Configure SSIDs, RF profiles, mobility groups, and guest access.
Troubleshoot wireless connectivity, roaming, authentication, and performance issues.
Work with Cisco ISE for wireless authentication and policy enforcement.
Deploy and support Cisco SD-WAN or equivalent SD-WAN technologies.
Troubleshoot overlay/underlay connectivity issues.
Perform policy-based routing and application-aware routing configurations.
Support circuit migrations, onboarding, and network transformations.
Manage and troubleshoot Cisco ACI fabric environments.
Configure and maintain:
APIC Controllers
Tenants
VRFs
Bridge Domains
EPGs
Contracts
Support data center migrations and network automation initiatives.
Participate in ACI design, deployment, and operational support.
Provide Level-3 support for P1/P2/P3 incidents.
Conduct packet analysis using tools such as Wireshark.
Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and preventive actions.
Support 24x7 operations and critical change windows as required.
Mentor L1/L2 engineers and provide technical guidance.
Implement and troubleshoot:
ACLs
VPNs
NAT
Network segmentation
Ensure compliance with security policies and standards.
Support vulnerability remediation activities.
DNS, DHCP, and IPAM administration.
Grid architecture understanding.
DNS troubleshooting and DHCP failover concepts.
IP address management and automation integrations.
F5 BIG-IP LTM administration.
Virtual Servers, Pools, Monitors, SNAT.
SSL offloading and certificate management.
Basic iRules knowledge.
Application onboarding and load-balancer troubleshooting.
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
8–12+ years of enterprise network engineering experience.
Strong hands-on experience with Cisco networking technologies.
Experience working in large-scale enterprise or healthcare environments.
Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Strong communication and stakeholder-management abilities.
Must be willing to work in a 24x7 support environment with rotational shifts.
Open to working night shifts on a rotational basis as part of global support coverage.
Participate in on-call support, weekend support, and major incident bridges when required.
Flexibility to support planned maintenance activities, change implementations, and critical business events as required.
Ability to work effectively in a global team environment across multiple time zones.
