Job summary

BlueAlly is seeking a Network Engineer for a 100% remote, full-time role spanning Brazil, Mexico and the Philippines. You will implement and support Palo Alto firewalls and Cisco-based networks, delivering enterprise-grade connectivity and security across global customers.

The position emphasizes hands-on configuration, documentation, and knowledge transfer, with travel up to 50% when required to support customers and projects. Meraki experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Proven experience implementing, troubleshooting and supporting large enterprise networks.
• Strong Palo Alto firewall expertise.
• CCNA level expertise in Enterprise Infrastructure.
• Knowledge of routing protocols: EIGRP, OSPF, BGP.
• Experience with Cisco-based wireless infrastructure; Meraki preferred.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.

Job Description

This expansion role is for a Network Engineer in the Brazil/Mexico/Philippines area to perform remote support with various customers to implement and support Palo Alto firewalls and Cisco-based networks. Your first project is a full-time position with one of our customers managing Palo Alto and Cisco network devices and providing support for the customer’s follow the sun model.

In this role, you will:

• Implement, troubleshoot, and document enterprise networks and related systems


• Provide knowledge transfer and informal training to clients

Qualifications

What you need to succeed:

• Strong understanding and skills on Palo Alto firewalls


• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) level expertise in Enterprise Infrastructure (formerly Route/Switch), (enterprise wireless and collaboration are welcome as well - let's talk)


• Demonstrable experience in the implementation, troubleshooting and support of large enterprise networks


• Good understanding and practical experience with routing protocols (EIGRP, OSFP, and BGP)


• Good understanding and practical experience with switching technologies (Spanning tree, EtherChannel, Port Security, 802.1X, MAB)


• Willingness and ability to travel 50%


• Strongly prefer experience with the implementation of Cisco-based wireless network infrastructure


• Wireless experience preferably with Meraki is required
