Job summary

Lenovo PCCW Solutions in the Philippines is seeking a Network Engineer to manage, configure, and troubleshoot Cisco routers/switches/firewalls, Palo Alto firewalls, Aruba NAC, and F5 load balancers. You will ensure routing, security policies, and high availability across critical services.

The role requires 3-5 years of hands-on experience with modern networks, strong problem-solving, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to maintain documentation and respond to incidents.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of hands-on experience in network engineering and support.
• Strong knowledge of Cisco networking devices and technologies.
• Proficiency in managing Palo Alto firewalls and security policies.
• Experience with Aruba NAC implementation and support.
• Familiarity with F5 load balancer configuration and troubleshooting.
• Understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), and switching concepts.

Responsibilities

• Manage, configure, and troubleshoot Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Administer and maintain Palo Alto firewalls, including policy creation, monitoring, and security rule implementation.
• Support Aruba NAC solutions, including authentication, authorization, and endpoint compliance.
• Configure and maintain F5 load balancers, ensuring efficient traffic distribution and high availability of services.
• Monitor network performance, identify issues, and provide timely resolutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business operations and network-related projects.
• Maintain network documentation, including topology diagrams, device configurations, and incident reports.
• Participate in on-call rotation and provide L2 support for escalated network incidents.
• Ensure compliance with security policies and industry best practices.
• Perform day to day Administration task of tools.
• Perform periodic version upgrades of tools.
• Work with Security team to fix vulnerabilities identified in tools (monthly basis).
• Facilitate investigation of complex technical issues.
• Identify and elevate issues and work with vendors till issue closure, provide RCA.
• Monitor instructions received or sent via internal monitoring system.
• Perform health checks, system connectivity, consistency and data integrity.

Preferred Certifications

• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or higher.

• Aruba Certified ClearPass Professional (ACCP) or equivalent.
• F5 Certified BIG-IP Administrator (F5-CA) or higher.
• Knowledge in SIEM/Log management tools such as RSA Netwitness
