Job summary

Newtimes Group of Companies is seeking a technically strong NetSuite professional to own scripting and the integration layer. You will monitor, troubleshoot, and drive execution on NetSuite scripts, integrations, and workflows across BAU and project work, collaborating with a dedicated functional administrator.

You will design, build, test, and deploy SuiteScript 2.x customizations and maintain integrations using Boomi, Celigo, or Workato, while enforcing coding standards and deployment

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of hands-on NetSuite experience with a developer or technical administration focus.
• Deep SuiteScript 2.x expertise across all script types: scheduled, user event, Map/Reduce, client, RESTlet, and Suitelet.
• Proven experience building and supporting integrations using Boomi, Celigo, Workato, or similar.
• Working knowledge of XML, JSON, flat file, and/or EDI.
• Strong proficiency with NetSuite REST and SOAP APIs (SuiteTalk, RESTlets).
• Working knowledge of SuiteFlow (workflow automation) and SuiteAnalytics (saved searches, workbooks, and reporting).
• Strong debugging and root cause analysis skills — able to trace a failure from symptom to source quickly.
• Familiarity with SuiteCloud CLI / SDF and version control practices for NetSuite deployments.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the health and performance of all active SuiteScripts, integrations, and automated workflows in production.
• Investigate and resolve script errors, integration failures, and workflow exceptions, including root cause analysis and preventative fixes.
• Maintain error alerting, logging, and runbook documentation for all production scripts and integrations.
• Review NetSuite platform updates (quarterly releases, bundle updates, SuiteApp upgrades) for impact to scripts and integrations, and manage required remediations.
• Serve as the technical escalation point for issues that cross from functional configuration into code.
• Collaborate with the functional administrator, integration developers, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical designs.
• Design, build, test, and deploy SuiteScript 2.x customizations, including scheduled scripts, user event scripts, Map/Reduce scripts, RESTlets, and Suitelets.
• Build and maintain integrations using Boomi, spanning Finance, HR, CRM, and other connected systems.
• Enforce coding standards, testing practices, and deployment processes for all NetSuite technical deliverables.
• Partner on SuiteFlow design reviews to ensure workflow automations are built for reliability and maintainability.
• Contribute to technical roadmap planning alongside IT leadership.
