Qualifications

• 4–6 years hands-on NetSuite experience with a developer or technical administration focus.
• Deep SuiteScript 2.x expertise across all script types (scheduled, user event, Map/Reduce, RESTlet, Suitelet).
• Proven experience building and supporting integrations using Boomi, Celigo, Workato, or similar.
• Working knowledge of XML, JSON, flat file, and/or EDI.
• Strong proficiency with NetSuite REST and SOAP APIs (SuiteTalk, RESTlets).
• Familiarity with SuiteFlow and SuiteAnalytics (saved searches, workloads).
• Strong debugging and root cause analysis skills — trace failures to source quickly.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the health and performance of all active SuiteScripts, integrations, and automated workflows in production.
• Investigate and resolve script errors, integration failures, and workflow exceptions; perform root-cause analysis and preventative fixes.
• Maintain error alerting, logging, and runbooks for production scripts and integrations.
• Review NetSuite updates and manage remediations impacting scripts and integrations.
• Design, build, test, and deploy SuiteScript 2.x customizations (scheduled, user event, Map/Reduce, RESTlets, Suitelets).
• Build and maintain integrations using Boomi, Celigo, Workato, or similar.
• Maintain integration records, authorizations, and access tokens in NetSuite.
• Enforce coding standards, testing practices, and deployment processes; collaborate on SuiteFlow design reviews.
• Contribute to technical roadmap planning with IT leadership.

Job description

We are looking for a technically strong NetSuite professional to own our scripting and integration layer. You will join a team that includes a dedicated functional administrator who manages day-to-day NetSuite operations and enhancements, while your focus is the code: monitoring, troubleshooting, and driving execution on everything related to NetSuite scripts, integrations, and workflows across both business-as-usual (BAU) and project work. We need someone who lives in SuiteScript, knows how to trace an integration failure to its root cause, and can build reliable, maintainable solutions that scale with the business.

What You'll Do

Scripts and Integrations — BAU (Monitor and Resolve)

Monitor the health and performance of all active SuiteScripts, integrations, and automated workflows in production.

Investigate and resolve script errors, integration failures, and workflow exceptions, including root cause analysis and preventative fixes.

Maintain error alerting, logging, and runbook documentation for all production scripts and integrations.

Review NetSuite platform updates (quarterly releases, bundle updates, SuiteApp upgrades) for impact to scripts and integrations, and manage required remediations.

Serve as the technical escalation point for issues that cross from functional configuration into code.

Scripts and Integrations — Enhancements and Projects (Review and Execute)

Collaborate with the functional administrator, integration developers, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical designs.

Design, build, test, and deploy SuiteScript 2.x customizations, including scheduled scripts, user event scripts, Map/Reduce scripts, RESTlets, and Suitelets.

Build and maintain integrations using Boomi, spanning Finance, HR, CRM, and other connected systems.

Participate in the design phase for integrations with other applications spanning Finance, CRM, and other connected systems, alongside integration developers, project managers, and key stakeholders; recommend enterprise standards for correctly mapping fields, creating custom objects, and extracting data from NetSuite efficiently.

Maintain integration records in NetSuite to manage application registrations, authorizations, and access tokens.

Enforce coding standards, testing practices, and deployment processes for all NetSuite technical deliverables.

Partner on SuiteFlow design reviews to ensure workflow automations are built for reliability and maintainability.

Contribute to technical roadmap planning alongside IT leadership.

What You Bring

Required

4–6 years of hands-on NetSuite experience with a developer or technical administration focus.

Deep SuiteScript 2.x expertise across all script types: scheduled, user event, Map/Reduce, client, RESTlet, and Suitelet.

Proven experience building and supporting integrations using platforms such as Boomi (a plus), Celigo, Workato, or similar.

Working knowledge of common data formats, including XML, JSON, flat file, and/or EDI.

Strong proficiency with NetSuite REST and SOAP APIs (SuiteTalk, RESTlets).

Working knowledge of SuiteFlow (workflow automation) and SuiteAnalytics (saved searches, workbooks, and reporting).

Strong debugging and root cause analysis skills — able to trace a failure from symptom to source quickly.

Familiarity with SuiteCloud CLI / SDF and version control practices for NetSuite deployments.

Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to Have

NetSuite SuiteCloud Developer II certification.

Experience applying CI/CD principles to NetSuite deployment pipelines.

Exposure to SuiteAnalytics Connect.

Exposure to the retail and wholesale industries.

How the Team Works

Our IT team runs with clear ownership. The functional administrator handles day-to-day operations and enhancement architecture, while you are the technical specialist they rely on when work moves into code. You will collaborate closely with the functional administrator, the IT team, and the finance team, and will have the autonomy to define and improve the technical standards for how we build on NetSuite.
