Job summary

Hammerjack Pty Ltd is seeking a detail-oriented EDI Specialist on a contract basis in the Philippines. You will support and maintain Electronic Data Interchange processes with retail partners, ensuring timely flow of POs, ASNs, and invoices.

The role requires mapping, data validation, and collaboration with sales to resolve issues. The ideal candidate has hands-on EDI experience across multiple document types, NetSuite proficiency, strong Excel/CSV skills, and familiarity with AI tools and data

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with EDI document types 850, 856, 810, 860 and 997.
• Experience in NetSuite including saved searches and bulk imports.
• Strong Excel/CSV skills for bulk order processing and reconciliation.
• Excellent written and spoken English skills.
• Exposure to AI tools for data validation or workflow automation.
• Knowledge of data analytics or reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau).
• Experience supporting digital transformation or automation initiatives.
• Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision.
• Experience with retail trading partners and VAN tools (Liaison Lens, ECLynx).

Responsibilities

• Monitor inbound 850 transmissions and resolve mapping errors and PO issues.
• Map customer part numbers to internal items in NetSuite and update addresses.
• Commit inventory from blanket orders to active EDI orders using NetSuite tools.
• Manage distro ID changes and retransmitted or duplicate POs.
• Reconcile and release outbound ASNs (856) and schedule invoices (810).
• Read EDI segments to validate and correct system data.
• Coordinate with sales to resolve item, pricing, and retransmission issues.

You'll be responsible for supporting and maintaining Electronic Data Interchange processes between the company and its retail trading partners, ensuring accurate and timely flow of purchase orders, shipping notices, and invoices.

What you'll do:

• Monitor inbound 850 transmissions and resolve mapping errors, duplicate POs, and ship-to ID issues
• Map customer part numbers to internal items in NetSuite and maintain customer address records
• Commit inventory from blanket orders to active EDI orders using in-house NetSuite tools
• Manage distro ID changes and handle retransmitted or duplicate POs
• Reconcile and release outbound ASNs (856) and schedule invoices (810) through the EDI portal
• Read and interpret raw EDI segments to validate and correct system data
• Communicate with internal sales reps to resolve item, pricing, and retransmission issues

What we're looking for:

• Hands-on experience with EDI document types 850, 856, 810, 860, and 997
• Experience working in NetSuite, including saved searches, record editing, and bulk imports
• Strong Excel and CSV skills for bulk order processing and shipment reconciliation
• Advanced English writing and speaking skills
• Exposure to AI tools (e.g., anomaly detection, data validation assistants, or workflow automation)
• Basic knowledge of data analytics or reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau)
• Experience supporting digital transformation or automation initiatives
• Comfortable working independently with minimal day-to-day supervision
• Experience with retail trading partners and VAN tools such as Liaison Lens or ECLynx is strongly preferred
