GECO Asia Pte. Ltd seeks an experienced SAP EDI/O2C Consultant to manage and optimize global EDI operations and SAP integration processes. You will ensure seamless EDI exchanges, support O2C workflows, and drive continuous improvements across supply chain and customer order management functions.
The role requires hands-on experience with ANSI X12, EDIFACT, SAP EDI/IDoc integrations, and strong collaboration with IT, business users, and external partners.
We are seeking a SAP EDI/O2C Consultant to manage, support, and optimize global EDI operations and SAP integration processes. This role will be responsible for ensuring seamless electronic data interchange between business partners, maintaining SAP EDI/IDoc integrations, supporting Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes, and driving continuous improvements across supply chain and customer order management functions. The successful candidate will serve as a key liaison between business users, IT teams, external partners, and managed service providers to ensure stable, efficient, and scalable EDI operations.
Manage and support end-to-end EDI operations, including partner onboarding, connectivity setup, message mapping, testing, monitoring, and production support.
Maintain and troubleshoot EDI transactions using standards such as ANSI X12 and EDIFACT.
Support SAP EDI/IDoc integrations and ensure reliable data exchange between SAP and external trading partners.
Drive enhancements, rollouts, upgrades, and change initiatives related to EDI and SAP Order-to-Cash processes.
Investigate and resolve EDI, IDoc, and cross-functional process issues impacting business operations.
Collaborate with business users, IT teams, external partners, and AMS providers to deliver integration solutions and operational improvements.
Participate in system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and deployment activities for new integrations and process enhancements.
Develop and maintain technical documentation, support procedures, integration standards, and knowledge repositories.
Provide guidance, training, and support to local EDI key users and business stakeholders.
Monitor service performance, incident trends, and operational risks while ensuring compliance with established standards.
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Informatics, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.
Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in EDI operations, support, and integration environments.
Experience working within global organizations supporting cross-functional business and IT teams.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
Strong hands-on experience in EDI Operations, including partner onboarding, transaction monitoring, mapping, testing, troubleshooting, and production support.
Expertise in ANSI X12, EDIFACT, and electronic document exchange processes.
Strong knowledge of SAP EDI integrations and SAP IDoc structures, processing, and troubleshooting.
Experience supporting SAP SD (Sales & Distribution) and Order-to-Cash (O2C) business processes.
Understanding of purchasing, logistics, supply chain, and customer order management processes.
Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to work across business users, IT teams, external partners, and service providers.
