Job summary

Manulife MBPS is seeking a Senior Analyst, Fund Oversight to join our Finance team. You will validate retail funds NAV timely, ensure governance and regulatory compliance, and document issues for resolution.

You will support process improvements, update procedures, and participate in governance calls with stakeholders, while pursuing ongoing training.

This role requires a accounting/finance degree, CPA preference, and 2–3 years in fund accounting; strong analytics and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• CPA or accounting/financial designation preferred.
• 2–3 years relevant experience in fund accounting, securities, settlements, foreign exchange transactions, reconciliations, and investment accounting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with the team.

Responsibilities

• Validate retail funds NAV accurately and timely.
• Ensure compliance with fund governance, regulatory and audit requirements.
• Escalate operational issues with prescribed timelines.
• Support projects focused on operational efficiency.
• Update procedures and documentation when changes occur.
• Participate in governance and service meetings with stakeholders.
• Engage in trainings to keep knowledge up to date.
• Participate in monthly/quarterly governance and service calls.
