Job summary

JLL in Quezon, Philippines is seeking an HVAC technician to service and repair air handling and related equipment on-site. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot faults, and ensure safety policies are followed.

Knowledge of HVAC tools, reading schematics, and a SO2/SO1 certificate are preferred. The role requires safety awareness, problem solving, and effective communication with site management.

Qualifications

• SO2 or SO1 certificate is required.
• HVAC knowledge and ability to repair and maintain equipment.
• Reading and understanding schematics.
• Safe work practices and compliance with site policies.
• Operate forklifts and other mobile equipment as needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair HVAC equipment including tanks, pumps, timers, valves, and controls.
• Maintain and repair air handlers and related equipment (air supply, return, motors, fans, vents).
• Service, inspect and repair equipment following established PMs.
• Safely operate mobile equipment (forklifts, carts, trucks, lifts, boom lifts).
• Input data into Carrier’s TMS work order and asset management system.

• maintains and repairs HVAC equipment; tanks, pumps, timers, valves, and controls
• maintains and repairs air handlers and related equipment; air supply, return, motors, fans, and vents
• maintains, and repairs chilled water-related equipment and condensers; water pumps, valves, regulators, and chemicals
• Safely troubleshoot and repair all types of HVAC manufacturing and plant equipment
• Demonstrate the initiative to investigate and offer improvements to operations
• Work safely and follow all established plant safety policies and procedures
• Communicate appropriately with all site management employees
• Service, clean, inspect and repair equipment periodically following established PMs
• Safely operate mobile equipment such as fork trucks, carts, trucks, lifts, boom lifts, etc.
• Create notifications and follow up on needed repairs and order required parts
• Utilize problem-solving techniques in interacting with other employees in resolving issues
• Input data into Carrier’s TMS work order and asset management system
• Knowledge of HVAC or refrigeration tools, equipment, and materials common to the trade
• Knowledge of repair, maintenance, and installation techniques
• Abiding by HVAC trade codes, standards, and regulations
• Reading and understanding schematics
• Has a SO2 or SO1 certificate
