Job summary

Colliers International Philippines, Inc. is seeking a skilled Multi-Skilled Technician to join our Facilities Management team in Barangay Bakakeng, Baguio City.

The role covers maintenance across electrical, mechanical, plumbing, carpentry and general handyperson tasks to ensure safe, efficient facility operations. The candidate should have a Vocational Diploma/Short Course Certificate or TESDA NC II, with 6 months to 1 year of relevant experience in commercial buildings.

Qualifications

• Vocational or technical qualification required or equivalent.
• TESDA NC II is an advantage.
• At least 6 months to 1 year of relevant experience as a Multi-Skilled Technician in commercial settings.
• Proficient in electrical, mechanical, plumbing, carpentry, and general handyperson services.
• Knowledge of building mechanical and electrical systems and safety procedures.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills; able to work independently or in a team.
• Willing to work in Barangay Bakakeng, Baguio City and start immediately.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and basic troubleshooting across electrical, mechanical, plumbing, carpentry, and general handyperson tasks.
• Inspect building equipment and systems; assist in maintenance of HVAC, pumps, switchgears, FDAS, UPS, and STP.
• Respond to maintenance requests and document issues and actions.
• Coordinate with Facilities Management team to ensure continuous operation.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas and records.
• Follow safety policies and regulatory requirements.
• Support other related duties as assigned by supervisor.

Job description

Colliers International Philippines, Inc. is looking for a skilled and versatile Multi-Skilled Technician to join our Facilities Management team in Barangay Bakakeng, Baguio City.

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing technical, maintenance, and general handyperson services to ensure the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of the client's facilities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform operations and preventive maintenance tasks involving electrical, mechanical, plumbing, carpentry, and general handyperson works.

• Operate, inspect, and assist in the maintenance of building equipment and systems, including:

  • Electrical Substation and Generator Sets

  • HVAC Systems

  • Pumps, Motors, and Blowers

  • Switchgears

  • Compressors

  • Sewage Treatment Plant (STP)

  • Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS)

  • Fire Detection and Alarm System (FDAS)

  • Fire Protection Systems

• Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance of equipment and building systems to identify potential issues and ensure proper functioning.

• Respond promptly to maintenance requests, equipment concerns, and facility-related issues.

• Perform basic troubleshooting and recommend appropriate corrective actions when necessary.

• Maintain accurate records and documentation of maintenance activities, inspections, repairs, and equipment conditions.

• Coordinate and collaborate with the Facilities Management team to ensure the efficient and continuous operation of the client's facilities.

• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and applicable health and safety regulations.

• Maintain cleanliness and proper organization of work areas, tools, and equipment.

• Perform other related duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by the immediate superior from time to time.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Candidate must possess at least a Vocational Diploma/Short Course Certificate or equivalent technical qualification.

• TESDA NC II Certificate is an advantage.

• With at least 6 months to 1 year of relevant experience as a Multi-Skilled Technician in commercial office buildings, condominiums, residential projects, or similar facilities.

• Proficient in various maintenance and repair works, including electrical, mechanical, plumbing, carpentry, and general handyperson services.

• Knowledgeable in the operation and basic maintenance of building mechanical and electrical systems and equipment.

• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to diagnose and address technical issues efficiently.

• Good communication and customer service skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients, tenants, and colleagues.

• Able to work independently and as part of a team to support the smooth and efficient operation of the client's facilities.

• Familiarity with relevant workplace safety procedures and regulations in the maintenance and facilities management industry.

• Willing to work in Barangay Bakakeng, Baguio City.
