Polystar General Services Inc. is seeking a Multi Skilled Technician in Baguio City, Benguet. This full-time role focuses on maintaining and repairing property systems across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and general mechanical work to keep properties in top condition.

You will perform inspections, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with teams and contractors to complete projects safely and efficiently. A valid driver’s license and ability to work flexible hours may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Multi Skilled Technician or similar facilities maintenance role.
• Ability to work across multiple disciplines (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, mechanical repair, painting).
• Strong troubleshooting and independent decision making.
• Solid knowledge of building systems, safety standards, and regulations.
• Good organizational skills for handling multiple maintenance tasks.

About the role

We are seeking a Multi Skilled Technician to join our team in Baguio City, Benguet. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in the maintenance and upkeep of our managed properties. As a Multi Skilled Technician, you will be responsible for performing a diverse range of technical maintenance and repair tasks across multiple disciplines, ensuring that our properties remain in optimal condition and that all systems function safely and efficiently. This position is essential to our ability to provide exceptional facilities management services to our clients and maintain the integrity of the properties under our care.

Key responsibilities

1. Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on building systems, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general mechanical components

2. Conduct routine inspections of property facilities to identify maintenance issues, safety hazards, and areas requiring repair

3. Execute repair work on fixtures, equipment, and structural elements in a timely and professional manner

4. Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, repairs completed, and materials used

5. Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency repairs from property residents or management staff

6. Perform general cleaning and grounds maintenance duties as required to maintain property standards

7. Test and troubleshoot equipment to diagnose problems and implement appropriate solutions

8. Collaborate with other team members and external contractors to ensure efficient completion of projects

9. Adhere to all safety protocols, building codes, and health and safety regulations

10. Report any significant maintenance issues or safety concerns to management immediately

What we're looking for

1. Proven experience as a Multi Skilled Technician or in a similar facilities maintenance role within body corporate or property management

2. Demonstrable knowledge and practical experience in at least three of the following areas: plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC maintenance, carpentry, general mechanical repair, or painting

3. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities with the capacity to work independently and make sound decisions

4. Sound understanding of building systems, safety standards, and relevant regulations

5. Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple maintenance tasks efficiently

6. Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation

7. Strong communication skills and professional demeanour when interacting with residents, colleagues, and management

8. Ability to work flexible hours, including potential emergency call-outs when required

9. Relevant technical certifications or trade qualifications are highly desirable

10. Physical fitness and capability to perform manual labour, lifting, and working at heights safely
