Melters Steel Corporation is seeking a maintenance technician to uphold and service the M1 Tower. The role covers preventive maintenance across mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and fire suppression systems, as well as responding to tenant repair requests.
The ideal candidate will understand building systems and perform on-call support for Vermillion Events. You will report to the Building/Property Engineer and coordinate with the MST team to ensure timely, quality maintenance,
Job Summary:
The MST is responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of M1 Tower. This includes performing preventive maintenance on all systems and equipment, as well as responding to repair requests from tenants. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, as well as experience with general maintenance tasks.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Directly report to the Building/Property Engineer and shall be on-call whenever a need for support arises.
Responsible for the routinely on-stream inspection or condition monitoring of rotating machineries and equipment including controls, electrical apparatuses and related electrical facilities.
Report all abnormalities to the building/property engineer and implement immediate action as per instruction.
To be able to determine areas for improvement necessary for the attainment of the main objective to keep all machineries and equipment in top condition, reliable at any given time.
To be on service whenever a technical person is needed during Vermillion Events.
Will be handling and coordinating with other MST their schedule of work in coordination with Building Engineer.
Inspect quality of work of fellow MST ensuring all task given is completed correctly and on-time.
Perform all duties and related activities as may be assigned by the property engineer, property manager/building manager and properties manager.
Perform preventive maintenance on all systems and equipment, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and fire suppression systems, elevators.
Respond to repair requests from tenants in a timely and efficient manner.
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing problems.
Perform general maintenance tasks, such as painting, carpentry, and landscaping.
Maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment.
Document all maintenance activities in the maintenance log.
