Job summary
ViewQwest leads a hands-on MSP operation, owning client relationships and the underlying network. You will head a service desk and L1/L2 engineers, acting as the senior escalation point for high-priority incidents, and driving SLA performance, uptime, and continuous improvement.
This role requires seasoned network operations experience in MSP/NOC settings, with strong routing, SD-WAN, and firewall security expertise.
Qualifications
- 5+ years in network operations or IT service delivery.
- 3+ years leading technical teams in MSP/NOC/outsourced services.
- Strong hands-on expertise: LAN, VLANs, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, SD-WAN.
- Firewall and network security experience, Palo Alto preferred.
- Experience with ITIL service management and KPI reporting.
Responsibilities
- Own client relationship as the primary contact and translate objectives into service outcomes.
- Drive SLA adherence across incident response, resolution times, and uptime.
- Produce weekly and monthly service performance reports for clients and stakeholders.
- Lead L2 network engineers, handle P1/P2 escalation, and conduct performance reviews.
- Ensure network performance, availability, and security of client infrastructure.
- Oversee incident lifecycle, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
- Identify and drive network optimization initiatives and automation projects.
