Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology.
• Licensed Radiologic Technologist (RRT).
• At least 2 years of MRI experience.
• Knowledge of MRI procedures, patient positioning, imaging protocols, and MRI safety standards.
• Experience handling patients for various MRI examinations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patient-oriented and detail-oriented; able to work in a clinical environment.
• Computer literate with accurate documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI examinations following established procedures and safety protocols.
• Prepare and position patients for MRI procedures.
• Explain the MRI procedure to patients and assist throughout the examination.
• Screen patients for MRI safety concerns, including implants and contraindications.
• Ensure proper selection and use of MRI protocols based on the examination.
• Administer contrast media as required per protocol.

• Perform routine equipment checks and report issues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform MRI examinations following established clinical procedures and safety protocols.
• Prepare and properly position patients for MRI procedures.
• Explain the MRI procedure to patients and provide appropriate assistance throughout the examination.
• Screen patients for MRI safety concerns, including implants, metal objects, and other contraindications.
• Ensure proper selection and use of MRI protocols based on the requested examination.
• Administer contrast media when required and in accordance with established protocols and physician instructions.
• Monitor patients during examinations and respond appropriately to any concerns or adverse reactions.
• Review images for quality and completeness and repeat examinations when necessary.
• Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation.
• Follow strict MRI safety, infection control, and patient care standards.
• Perform basic equipment checks and report technical issues or equipment concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized MRI area.
• Coordinate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals as needed.
• Perform other related duties that may be assigned.
