Job summary

Amentum is seeking an experienced MQ-9 CLS Technician with advanced avionics troubleshooting skills to maintain aircraft and GCS systems. The role requires applying complex engineering knowledge to diagnose issues beyond manuals and to guide junior technicians.

Candidates must have an active Secret clearance and be prepared for CONUS/OCONUS deployments, with a strong background in electronics, wiring diagrams, and test equipment. On-site work in a defense-focused setting is expected.

Qualifications

• Must have active Secret US Government clearance with ability to obtain Top-Secret.

Responsibilities

• Maintain UAS aircraft electrical generators, load banks, starters, relays, batteries, actuators, circuit breakers, switches, and instruments.
• Apply advanced technical knowledge to solve complex problems beyond manuals.
• Analyze circuits, waveforms, and signal flow using specialized test equipment.
• Provide leadership and guidance to lower-level avionic technicians.
• Sign off work in NALCOMIS/OOMA or IMDS.
• Maintain logs and records; participate in maintenance activities and shift meetings.
