Job summary

Crown Asia Chemicals Corporation is seeking a maintenance technician to support production by setting up extruder die heads, calibrator nozzles, and mandrels. The role includes routine maintenance of mould equipment and accurate reporting of activities.

Ideal candidates have trade schooling with national certification in mould maintenance and at least two years in industrial manufacturing environments. Safety and proper tool handling are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Trade school graduate with national certification/strong knowledge and experience in mould maintenance.
• Preferably with two (2) years work experience in production operations in an industrial manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Sets up extruder die heads, calibrator nozzles, and socketing mandrels for production.
• Maintains regular upkeep of die and mould equipment including die head components, calibrator nozzles, and socketing mandrels.
• Provides accurate and timely report of activities.
• Informs supervisor or engineer of incidents or issues needing immediate action beyond capability.
• Ensures proper and careful use of EMD tools and equipment and records tool storage and return.

Job description

Duties:

1. Performs timely, efficient and proper setup of extruder die heads, calibrator nozzles, socketing mandrels, etc. for production. Conducts the safekeeping & maintenance of all production moulds.

2. Responsible for the regular maintenance of all die and mould equipment such as but not limited to: die head components, calibrator nozzles, socketing mandrels, etc.

3. Provides accurate and timely report of activities as required.

4. Informs the Mould Maintenance Supervisor or the Mould Maintenance Engineer of any incidents, issues, and problems that requires immediate action/resolution beyond his capabilities.

5. Ensures proper and careful use of EMD tools & equipment while performing maintenance activities; conducts orderly and recorded storage, issue, use, return and storage of all tools used.
