Job summary

Alphaland Corporation is seeking a Fleet/Motorpool Supervisor to oversee day-to-day vehicle operations, maintenance, and dispatching. You will manage fleet utilization, keep records, and supervise preventive maintenance, repairs, and budgeting. A Mechanical Engineering background and driving license are preferred.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year in an automotive shop or company, with strong reporting skills and knowledge of diagnostics tools. Based in the Philippines, on-site role.

Qualifications

• Must have 1+ year experience in an automotive shop or company.
• Must be graduate of Mechanical Engineering or equivalent; license is an advantage.
• Must possess a professional driver's license.

Job description

PRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF POSITION

Responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a fleet of vehicles, including vehicle maintenance, repairs, servicing schedules, dispatching drivers, and ensuring the efficient utilization of all vehicles within a company or organization, effectively acting as the supervisor of the motorpool department; key duties include maintaining vehicle records, coordinating repairs, implementing preventative maintenance plans, and monitoring fuel usage.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Vehicle Management

• Maintain an accurate inventory of all vehicles and equipment within the motorpool
• Assign vehicles to drivers based on needs and availability
• Track vehicle mileage, fuel consumption, and maintenance history

Maintenance Oversight

• Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules for all vehicles
• Review repair estimates and authorize necessary repairs

Budgeting and Reporting

• Track motorpool expenses related to fuel, maintenance, and repairsPrepare reports on vehicle usage, maintenance costs. and fleet performance
• Identify areas for cost optimization within the motorpool

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

• Strong understanding of vehicle mechanics and maintenance procedures
• Proven experience managing a fleet of vehicles in a similar environment
• Proficiency in record keeping, reporting, and documentation
• Must have adequate knowledge of modern mechanical or diagnostics tools and equipment
