Job summary

Dyson invites talented individuals to join its MDAC Team in the Philippines as a Motor Drives Engineer. You will apply your skills in Electrical Machines Design, Modelling and Simulation, and Power Electronics to deliver motor drives solutions for Dyson technologies and products.

You’ll work within a larger project team and contribute across design, testing and production stages. Working alongside engineers and scientists, you’ll learn from experts and also share your ideas.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics or Mechatronics.
• Knowledge of electrical machine, motor control, power electronics, and sensing technologies.
• Experience with MATLAB SIMULINK and/or SPICE tools for motors.
• Knowledge of FEA and programming in C, Python, LabVIEW or embedded coder.
• Strong analysis and measurement skills.
• Good teamwork and communication, with self-motivation.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement motor control algorithms for products and production.
• Document motor control requirements, design guides, tests, and change requests.
• Review verification results and provide feedback to the team.
• Support commissioning and troubleshooting of production end-of-line test systems.
• Analyze production data to identify process improvements and optimisation.
