Dyson in the Philippines is seeking a Motor Drives Engineer to join the MDAC team within Power Systems. You will apply your expertise in electrical machines design, modeling, and power electronics to deliver motor drives solutions for next generation Dyson technologies.
Working with a cross-disciplinary team, you will develop, verify, and optimize motor control algorithms, document requirements, review test results, and support production end-of-line testing and commissioning.

Power Systems is a global RDD function that designs and develops Dyson's internal technologies that enable most of our products. The team has experts in wide range of areas such as electromagnetic, mechanical, electrical, control algorithm, software, and project management.
Motor Drives and Advanced Control (MDAC) within Power Systems is responsible for the motor control, electromagnetic, system control, motor control software, and verifications. With over 100 experts globally, our team works from early development through to the production of our designs.
Dyson offers a unique opportunity for talented individuals to join its Research, Design and Development (RDD) function in Philippines as part of MDAC Team as a Motor Drives Engineer. He/she will be applying his/her skills and experience in Electrical Machines Design, Modelling and Simulation, and Power Electronics to deliver Motor Drives solution to our next generation Dyson technologies and products. You will be working as part of larger project team and some of your tasks could include:
