Job summary

Mindrift is offering a part-time opportunity for experienced mortgage underwriters in the Philippines. Contributors will engage in evaluating AI-generated underwriting decisions and will be responsible for drafting approval letters and ensuring compliance.

Candidates should have a relevant degree and at least 3 years of mortgage or financial services experience. Strong written English (C1+) is essential, and earnings can reach up to $50 per hour based on contribution levels.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in mortgage, lending, real estate, or financial services.
• Current or recent experience in underwriting & origination or adjacent roles.
• Ability to calculate qualifying income for self-employed borrowers from IRS Forms.
• Deep familiarity with Fannie Mae / Freddie Mac selling guides and knowledge of Reg B, Reg Z, and TRID.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI-generated mortgage underwriting decisions across loan types.
• Draft and audit conditional approval letters for compliance.
• Document problem statements clearly and provide accurate answers.
