Qualifikationen

• Experience underwriting non-agency, agency, and/or home equity mortgage loans.
• Ability to assess creditworthiness and collateral risk with clear rationale.
• Review income, employment, and asset documentation and analyze complex scenarios.
• Review credit reports and debt obligations to gauge repayment capacity.
• Identify documentation gaps and determine appropriate conditions or escalation.

• Underwrite mortgage loan files within delegated authority following policy and guidelines.
• Analyze borrower income, employment, assets, liabilities, and credit history.
• Review disclosures and documentation for completeness and accuracy.
• Evaluate property and collateral documentation to assess risk.

• Identify gaps and set underwriting conditions; escalate when needed.
• Render timely approval, suspension, or denial decisions with justification.
• Communicate decisions and rationale to loan officers and partners.
• Identify fraud indicators and escalate through proper channels.
• Apply fair lending practices and consistent customer treatment.
• Maintain knowledge of policy changes and regulatory updates.
