Job summary

South Asialink Finance Corporation is seeking a Mortgage Loan Specialist to assess client needs, explain REM products, and guide borrowers from application to closing.

The role requires 2–3 years in real estate loan origination, strong sales, and relationship management, with knowledge of lending regulations. You will work with clients and real estate partners to meet monthly targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Admin, Economics, Banking or related field preferred.
• 2–3 years experience in Real Estate loan origination or financial services.
• Experience in sales, client relationship management, or real estate transactions is desirable.
• Strong understanding of Real Estate products, loans process, and documentation.
• Knowledge of financing regulations and credit analysis with strong sales and negotiation abilities.
• Familiarity with real estate market trends, property valuation, and documentation requirements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for dealing with clients and real estate agents.
• High ethical standards, integrity, and professionalism; goal-driven and able to meet sales/loan targets.
• Customer-oriented with strong relationship-building skills; able to work under pressure and manage multiple client accounts.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to assess mortgage needs and provide product recommendations.
• Request appraisal reports of mortgage properties.
• Explain REM products, interest rates, terms, and eligibility requirements.
• Collect and verify financial documents (income, credit history, assets, liabilities).
• Evaluate loan applications and submit for approval per company policies.
• Maintain relationships with real estate agents, builders, and referral partners to generate leads.
• Guide clients through the loan process from application to closing.
• Ensure compliance with banking regulations and lending standards.
• Achieve monthly and quarterly sales/loan origination targets.
