Qualifications

• Previous experience in mortgage loan processing, lending administration, broker support, or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of the Australian residential mortgage and lending process.
• Familiarity with Australian lenders, loan documentation, and application workflows.
• Strong organisational and administrative skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and follow-up skills.
• Ability to manage multiple applications and competing deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proactive and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience supporting Australian mortgage brokers or lending teams is highly desirable.
• LMG experience is highly desirable, particularly familiarity with LMG systems, processes, and workflows.

Responsibilities

• Manage residential loan applications from initial submission through to approval and settlement.
• Review applications and supporting documentation for completeness and accuracy.
• Prepare and submit loan applications to lenders.
• Liaise with lenders, brokers, clients, and other stakeholders regarding application requirements.
• Follow up outstanding documentation, lender conditions, and application requirements.
• Monitor application progress and provide timely updates to relevant stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate records and update relevant lending systems.
• Coordinate with lenders and other parties to help ensure applications progress within expected timeframes.
• Assist with resolving application queries, documentation issues, and lender requirements.
• Coordinate activities leading up to loan approval and settlement.
• Ensure all processing activities follow relevant lending, compliance, and internal procedures.
• Provide general administrative and operational support to the broker or lending team as required.
