Job summary

TE Connectivity Ltd. is seeking a mold technician to support the assembly and maintenance of molds on the shop floor. You will be responsible for set-up, calibration, testing, and routine repairs to ensure continuous production.

Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth mold operation during shift and troubleshoot mold issues.
• Perform root cause analysis to reduce mold breakdowns.
• Carry out mold changeovers as per schedule and routine maintenance.
• Plan spares and ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Provide on-the-job training to trainees and uphold safe working environment.
• Assist with Ready to deploy projects suggested by Molding COE.

Maintaining the Molds as per PM, managing spare parts, refurbishment and troubleshooting of the mold

Responsibilities

• Responsible for smooth running of molds in shift
• Trouble shooting of molds
• Root cause analysis to reduce mold breakdowns
• To carry out mold change over as per the given schedule
• To carry out routine and preventive maintenance
• Spares planning
• Adherence to quality standards
• To provide on job training to trainee tool and die maker
• To demonstrate safe working environment
