Job summary

INGO Manufacturing Philippines Inc. is seeking an experienced Mold Repair Technician to maintain and repair plastic injection molds.

You will diagnose defects, perform high‑level repairs, and restore damaged mold components to specification, ensuring reliability for production. The ideal candidate has a technical/vocational background, extensive hands‑on experience with machining tools (lathe, milling, surface grinder, CNC milling, laser welding) and CAD/CAM software, plus strong reading of

Qualifications

• Graduate with Mechanical Technology, Tool and Die Technology, Industrial Technology, or related vocational course.
• With extensive experience in plastic injection mold repair, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
• Capable of high-level mold repair and restoration of damaged mold components.
• Knowledge of defects such as flash, short shot, sink marks, warpage, burn marks, and dimensional issues.
• Experienced in mold maintenance, including cleaning, overhauling, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance.
• Able to perform mold modification, tooling improvement, and reverse engineering.
• Skilled in Lathe, Milling, Surface Grinding, CNC Milling, and Laser Welding equipment.
• Knowledgeable in CAD/CAM tools such as SolidWorks, Siemens NX, and AutoCAD.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings, mold designs, and technical specifications.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Capable of working with minimal supervision and under pressure.
• Willing to render overtime and support urgent tooling requirements when needed.

Responsibilities

• Repair plastic injection molds and troubleshoot defects.
• Perform mold maintenance activities including cleaning, overhauling, and preventive maintenance.
• Modify tooling and engage in reverse engineering as required.
• Operate shop machining equipment including lathe, milling, surface grinder, CNC milling, and laser welding.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and mold designs to guide repairs.

• Strong technical knowledge of common plastic part defects and the corresponding corrective actions, such as flash, short shot, sink marks, warpage, burn marks, and dimensional issues.
• Experienced in mold maintenance activities, including mold cleaning, overhauling, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance.
• Able to perform mold modification, tooling improvement, and reverse engineering activities.
• Skilled in operating tool shop machining equipment such as: Lathe Machine, Milling Machine, Surface Grinding Machine, CNC Milling Machine, and Laser Welding Machine.
• Knowledgeable in CAD/CAM software applications, such as SolidWorks, Siemens NX, and AutoCAD.
• Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
