Job summary

Propelrr is seeking a QA Automation Engineer (Mobile & Frontend) to design, develop, and maintain automated tests for iOS, Android, and modern web UIs. You will implement robust test strategies, integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines, and collaborate with developers—ensuring quality across devices, browsers, and frameworks.

The role requires 3–5 years of hands-on QA with strong automation tooling, scripting in JavaScript/TypeScript, and experience with Appium, Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in a technical field.
• 3–5 years of hands-on software QA with focus on automated mobile and web UI testing.
• Experience with mobile automation frameworks such as Appium, Detox, or Maestro.
• Proficiency with modern web automation tools like Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium.
• Strong scripting skills in JavaScript/TypeScript for test scripts and runners.

Responsibilities

• Develop clean, testable mobile automation tasks for iOS and Android.
• Design, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for mobile and web UIs.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines across staging and pre-production.
• Identify, document, and track defects; collaborate with engineers to isolate regressions and performance issues.
• Create and maintain documentation for testing frameworks, plans, and coverage reports.
• Ensure cross-browser web UI testing and robust state management across components.
