Job summary

Propelrr is seeking a QA Automation Engineer (Mobile & Frontend) to design, implement, and maintain automated test scripts for iOS, Android, and web UIs using Playwright/Cypress/Selenium, Appium, and CI/CD pipelines.

You will write clean, maintainable test code, ensure cross-device gestures and viewport handling, and collaborate closely with developers to verify fixes and improve quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Equivalent practical experience, certifications, or a strong portfolio demonstrating test automation frameworks will also be considered.

Responsibilities

• Write clean, testable, and well-documented Mobile Automation Tasks; Design, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for iOS and Android platforms using modern mobile testing tools, effectively managing device-specific gestures, OS nuances, and viewport sizes.
• Build robust end-to-end (E2E) and functional UI test suites for modern, component-driven web frameworks (e.g., Next.js, React) to ensure cross-browser compatibility and seamless state management.
• Embed automated test suites into continuous integration and delivery pipelines, executing tests efficiently across containerized staging and pre-production environments.
• Identify, document, and track software defects with precision. Collaborate directly with software engineers to isolate visual regressions, state errors, and mobile performance bottlenecks to verify hotfixes.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for automated testing frameworks, test plans, and coverage reports, ensuring all testing processes are transparent and maintainable across teams.
