Job summary

WeSupport Incorporated in the Philippines is seeking an experienced Middleware Administrator to design, install, upgrade, and support middleware stacks on Linux and AIX. You will work with Oracle WebLogic, Oracle Fusion Middleware, Oracle Traffic Director, Apache Tomcat, JBoss, Control-M and MOVEit, ensuring smooth deployments and production stability.

You will collaborate with development and operations teams to manage migrations, container build scripts, VM/server readiness, and documentation

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT or related field.
• 5+ years of middleware administration experience (non-negotiable).
• Hands-on with building, configuring, installing, upgrading middleware.
• Experience on Linux and/or AIX platforms.
• Experience with Oracle WebLogic, Fusion Middleware, traffic director, Tomcat, JBoss, Control-M, MOVEit.
• Experience installing software packages and performing upgrades.
• Support for development, test, and production environments.
• Support deployments and releases, incl. container build scripts.

Responsibilities

• Develops and builds new middleware versions on Linux/AIX.
• Builds and supports middleware technologies (Oracle WebLogic, Fusion Middleware, Tomcat, JBoss, MOVEit, etc.).
• Installs software, binaries, and upgrades middleware.
• Provides technical support for Dev, Test, and Prod environments.
• Contributes to middleware design standards.
• Supports application releases in Test env with container build scripts.
• Assists with VM/server setup for middleware.
• Migrates middleware infrastructure to new versions and guides app migrations.

Job Description

• Develops and builds new version of middleware technologies running on Linux and or AIX Platforms




• Builds and supports Middleware Technologies (Oracle Traffic Director, Weblogic, Oracle Fusion Middleware, Apache Tomcat, JBOSS, ControlM, MOVEiT, etc.)




• Installations of Software & Binary packages and upgrades Middleware




• Provides technical support of Development, Test and Production environments




• Provides input for middleware technologies design standards




• Supports the installation of application releases into Test environments, including delivery of container build scripts




• Provides input to low-level designs




• Identifies issues affecting customer service and resolve them




• Provides build requirement for VMs and/or server set-up




• Contributes to the development of documentation and standards




• Migrates Middleware Infrastructure to new versions and support the migration of applications by development teams




• Provides inputs in estimating project builds




• Liaises with application teams regarding Middleware (e.g. Weblogic) Code of Connection and integration issues
